F.E.A.S.T. in the Heart of the Finger Lakes
A local chef, Samantha Buyskes, approached us about creating a high-end tasting event celebrating the local culinary bounty of the Finger Lakes. My team readily agreed and I got to work with Sam on creating a name for the event, as well as a logo and branding.

After tossing around a bunch of ideas that were nixed for one reason or another, I brought the acronym F.E.A.S.T. to my team. F.E.A.S.T. stands for "Feeding Everyone Around Shared Tables", we added "in the Heart of the Finger Lakes" because the event was to be held in Geneva, NY, which is referred to as the heart of the Finger Lakes region.

After deciding on a name and tagline, I got to work on the look and feel of the branding. Knowing where the event was to be held - the Cracker Factory - I knew it was an old brick and hardwood style warehouse. So I settled on a dark wood and linen style for the branding, and then incorporated the Finger Lakes into the design, with a heart where Geneva is on the map. The branding was used in a variety of ways from event signage, advertising, commemorative glasses, and embroidered tote bags. We got a lot of great feedback on the design and are excited to see where the event goes in the future.
I was also able to be photographer for this beautiful event - such amazing visuals!
